Increased capacity of mobile devices (Laptops, PDAs etc.) enabled Mobile Peer-to-Peer (MP2P) networks which are applications of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network paradigm to mobile wireless networks. MP2P networks aim to take advantage of P2P technique while considering constraints of mobile systems. Using wireless technologies on healthcare systems is very popular and healthcare personnel are encouraged to use these kind of technologies in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness. This effort is also called \"telemedicine\". In this talk, an application of MP2P systems for a medical environment will be introduced after presenting general information about MP2P and telemedicine concepts. Details of the proposed system like data dissemination, clustering, lookup protocols will be explained after a brief overview of the whole system.
